Social Media Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking a creative Social Media Specialist to develop and execute social media strategies for healthcare clients. You'll create engaging content, build communities, and drive patient engagement across social platforms.

Responsibilities

• •Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple healthcare clients
• •Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social platforms
• •Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages
• •Plan and schedule content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• •Design graphics and edit short-form video content for social media
• •Analyze social media metrics and prepare performance reports
• •Stay current on social media trends and healthcare advertising guidelines
• •Collaborate with clients to align social content with brand voice and goals
• •Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets
• •Grow follower base and increase engagement rates
• •Identify and leverage influencer partnerships when appropriate

Requirements

• •2+ years of social media management experience
• •Experience managing social media for healthcare or wellness brands preferred
• •Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social)
• •Strong understanding of each platform's best practices and algorithms
• •Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• •Video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• •Excellent written communication skills
• •Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
• •Creative mindset with attention to current trends
• •Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare advertising regulations
